Welcome to Allesley Park Evangelical Church

We are an open and friendly church who seek to make all visitors and friends welcome.

We are committed to using the Bible to determine how we meet together, how we worship and what we do in the community. We are convinced that God is just as relevant to our world today as when the Bible was written and seek to share this with everyone.

Coronavirus LATEST (30 July 2020):-

On 2nd August 2020, Ivor Cooper is planning to speak at our first Sunday morning service at our building since the Lockdown. We will also be showing the meeting on Zoom where you can sing along with the songs and listen to Ivor and participate in prayer online as we have been doing as well.

Your help and support in adhering to the following would help us to apply with the Government guidance:-

• Let us know in advance if you are able to come (by close of Thursday 30th July), and we will be keeping a register including your phone number in line with track and trace guidance
• Be careful to maintain social distancing as you enter, are inside and leaving the building
• You are encouraged to wear a face mask
• Clean your hands on entry and leaving the building using hand sanitiser
• Listen to the songs (no singing) and limit touching surfaces as much as possible
• Do not attend if you or any members of your household are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 or are advised not to attend in-line with Government guidance

Your support in recognising that we need to keep numbers to the capacity set by the government guidance in relation to social distancing, is appreciated.

Thank you for your prayers. Our God is in control.

Coronavirus Update (12 June 2020):-
The Government has changed its advice to allow churches and other religious buildings to open for individual prayer from Saturday June 13.   We do not have any plans to re-open for individual prayer at present. We understand the vital need for prayer at this time and have found that our people have been praying no less because they have not had a building in which to pray. Our outreach, ministry and church has been happening in new and exciting ways and will continue to do so.

Please look at our NEWS section of the website for a thought for today.  We are regularly updating our RECORDINGS and YOUTH section as well.  We are also updating our Facebook page each day.  If you wish to join us in our live Zoom meetings please email contact@apec-coventry.org.uk

Coronavirus Update 17 March 2020:-
With heavy hearts we have taken the decision to follow Government guidelines and suspend all our activities at APEC until further notice other than our support for Foodbank.   On Friday between 1pm and 3pm we will be providing non contact Foodbank parcels to help meet the great need in the City.

Two bible verses has been on our minds today which are relevant to the challenge we are all facing.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”  Psalm 46 v 1
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4 v 6-7 We are currently on our knees before the Lord asking for His guidance on how we can help, support and encourage each other, and will be sharing what the Lord has given us over the next few days.
Keep Calm – Jesus is in control.
